The study demonstrates that the TiO 2 nanocone/Bi 2 O 3 nanodot heterojunctions can serve as a promising platform for bone implantation and provide electro-mechanobiological cues to modulate bone regeneration. The findings also shed light on the underlying mechanisms of how implant design can affect osteogenesis, which may lead to the development of more effective and personalized bone implant materials in the future.
